Our Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican Met with Students of Vocational School of Technical Sciences
As part of the traditional student meetings at Muş Alparslan University, our Rector, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican, met with the students of the Vocational School of Technical Sciences. The meeting, held at the Prof. Dr. Sabahattin Zaim Conference Hall, attracted great interest from students, who had the opportunity to chat with their rector and listen to valuable advice on university life and the future.
Rector Prof. Dr. Alican emphasized that university years are a turning point in students' lives and urged them to make the most of this time. He stated, "You will never have such a comfortable and fulfilling period in your life again. So, value these years and try to develop yourself in the best way possible." He also shared his own passion for books during his student years, revealing that he has 7,000 books in his personal library, 5,000 of which are novels. He encouraged students to read and focus on personal development.
During the meeting, the Rector gave important advice about emotions and human relationships, saying, "Live your emotions without exaggeration, a person is what they are preoccupied with. Don’t love anyone excessively, and don’t hate anyone excessively; see people as they are and value them as they are. When making important decisions in your life, don't rush, take your time."
Rector Alican emphasized the importance of making the right decisions in life and noted that university years are a great opportunity for personal growth. He added that the university administration is happy to support students in various areas, stating, "You are our future. We care about you growing up as well-rounded individuals, not only in terms of having a good profession. We want you to develop socially and culturally as well. Have a balanced perspective on life."
At the end of the meeting, Prof. Dr. Alican chatted with students individually, listening to their opinions and questions. He expressed that student feedback is very meaningful to him and that these kinds of meetings will continue. He emphasized that the university management will always remain open to students and will continue to support their development.
